State of the art flake epoxy resin technology:

Revolutionary glass flake epoxy resins has been tested and proven over many years of use in high tech industry, and is now available for domestic apllications in AquaQuartz.

There are upwards of 125 layers of glass flakes in every 1mm of coating, which makes AquaQuartz vastly tougher and more reliable than glass fibre coatings. AquaQuartz combines the strengthening and water resistant qualities of glass with the excellent adhesion, corrosion and chemical resistance of epoxy resin.

The three layers - primer, intermeciate and top coat form a permanant, indestructible chemical bond which then fuses with the marbellite gunite substrate of your pool, which means AquaQuartz won't lift, peel, crack or leak. All great news for pool owners.
